Comfort Suites Columbus Expo Center

We had a few extra family members come visit daily in the pool and our room. Zero occasions did the staff let me know there was an issue or it was a problem. One man in particular felt we allowed more people to stay overnight in our room than the maximum 5 per room, which we did not, however still no staff member addressed their concerns to me. We stayed 4 days and on the morning of the fourth day, my child had a medical emergency. I rushed her to emergency, but before I did I was trying to reach a staff member to let them know we may have to stay later...there was no one available for over 30 minutes at reception. I called a little bit before 7am and spoke with a member of staff and let them know I'd like to extend another day due to emergency and the payment wasn't a problem. The staff member informed me to book it through the website, which I did. I felt a certain staff member may have anticipated incorrectly due to a few common social bias's, and refused service on that 4th day, stating we had too many people overnight in our room, which was not the case. We were a fAmily enjoying ourselves and the company, we do not get to do that very often. For 4 whole days, NO ONE FROM STAFF ADDRESSED ANY CONCERNS. if I had known staff had any issue correct or incorrect, I would have rectified the situation. I feel extremely let down bc I had no sleep for more than 24 hours, I was extremely worried for my daughter, it was a blizzard out, and we desperately were in need of rest. Staff had assured us early in the morning that as long as we rebooked and made it in by noon, we could extend the reservation, only to be cancelled and asked to leave for an issue that hadn't been addressed.it was very disheartening, highly disappointing, embarrassing, and tragic for my family who was technically in the middle of a medical crisis, and was met with zero compassion.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean! The day staff was absolutely amazing! Breakfast was okay. We had some noisy neighbors above us running up and down the hallway and stomping on the floor. Notified front desk and it continued for like another hour (Only said something because I had children sleeping, otherwise would have just ignored) other than that no other complaints. There is a McDonalds practically next door, not much else near by but not too far either. Definitely would stay here again!

The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were good, pillows were a bit strange - one bed had 4 small square pillows, and the other bed had 2 small squares and 2 "normal" pillows. For two people, it was fine. We missed the breakfast, but it smelled good!

We liked the hotel it was accommodating. The room was nice we mentioned to the hotel staff our TV was not working, by the time we got back from dinner they had it fixed! We noticed the toilet leaked around the bottom on the floor so when we checked out we let them know so it didn't cause any issues... The breakfast was very good!! Overall the stay was pleasant..

The daytime service desk associates were awesome! Jo was very friendly and professional. But there was a heavy set man that wasn’t a ppl person. But I’m sure he deals with a lot at night time. But I have no complaints otherwise!!
